Eric Tan Tiong Keat
Tan Tiong Keat is a Malaysian business executive with more than four decades of experience spanning entrepreneurship, sales and marketing, general trading, travel operations, manufacturing, international business development and corporate leadership. He currently serves as Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer of TTL Group of Companies and as a Council Member of the Malaysia Nepal Business Council.
Tan Tiong Keat is a Malaysian business executive and entrepreneur with more than 40 years of professional experience across sales and marketing, distribution, general trading, travel operations, manufacturing, international business development and corporate leadership. His career has provided extensive business exposure across Malaysia, China and overseas markets, encompassing both entrepreneurial ventures and senior executive responsibilities.
He currently serves as Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer of TTL Group of Companies, a position he has held since 2013. In this capacity, he is responsible for establishing internal Group policies and setting and monitoring key performance indicators across various departments, bringing together corporate governance, operational oversight and performance management.
Tan's international business experience includes five years in China, where he served as General Manager of Ningbo AKE Electronics Co. Ltd from 2008 to 2013. His responsibilities included development planning, implementation of business policies, and sales and marketing activities for overseas markets within the audio equipment manufacturing sector.
His earlier career reflects a strong entrepreneurial background. He served as Tour Manager with Taikar Holidays (Travel Group) Sdn Bhd, co-founded Sam Shin Industries (M) Sdn Bhd in the general trading and silica gel supply business, and co-founded Rich-On Home Entertainment (M) Sdn Bhd, where he was involved in distribution and overseas market expansion. He had previously established Pioneer Distributor Enterprise, following the beginning of his career in industrial rubber product sales and marketing.
Across these roles, Tan has developed experience in business formation, market expansion, sales and marketing strategy, operational management, entrepreneurship and international relationship development.
