Accountable Council leadership

MNBC is guided by its Executive Committee and administered through authorized roles within the Council. Public leadership information is maintained in the Executive Committee directory so that visitors can identify the office bearers and Council Members currently published by MNBC.

How oversight is approached

The Council's governance approach is intended to support responsible decisions, appropriate separation of duties and reliable administration. Matters should be considered by the persons or bodies authorized under MNBC's approved governing arrangements, with records retained where required for accountability and continuity.

Core governance principles

  • Integrity: Council activities and public statements should be accurate, responsible and aligned with MNBC's purpose.
  • Accountability: administrative actions, approvals and material changes should be attributable to authorized roles.
  • Conflicts of interest: personal or organizational interests should be disclosed and managed through the applicable Council process.
  • Confidentiality: applicant, member and partner information should be handled only for authorized purposes.
  • Controlled publication: draft or unverified information must not be presented publicly as approved MNBC content.
  • Stewardship: Council resources, records and digital systems should be managed securely and responsibly.
